Guadalupe Maya

Guadalupe Maya, 84, entered eternal rest on Monday, December 14, 2020, at home in Laredo, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

Mrs. Maya is preceded in death by her loving parents, Bartolo Patlan and Soledad Lopez, and daughter, Patricia Guadalupe Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Alejandra (Jose Luis) Yepez, Lucio Raul (Patricia) Sanchez, Cristina (Lauro) Garza, Edward (Gabriela) Maya, and Claudia (Juan) Escobedo. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Maria Patlan and Francisco (Oralia) Patlan. Mrs. Maya is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Funeral Home. Departure will be at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
