Guadalupe Villarreal, 95, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Villarreal is survived by her children, Noemi (Gerardo) Peña, Aida Villarreal, Dora Hall, Oscar Alberto Villarreal, Guadalupe “Lupe” (Pablo) Garcia, Sandra (James+) Ernst, Lina (Heriberto) Peña, Simon R. (Marlene) Villarreal, and Elda (Carlos) Gutierrez III. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
