Hilda L. Cavazos

Hilda L. Cavazos Hilda L. Cavazos was called home by Jesus on Sunday, December 3, 2017 after a brief illness. She was 83 and a lifelong resident of Laredo. She was the wife of Librado Cavazos (+). Together they had nine children. Mrs. Cavazos was employed by the Laredo Independent School District until her retirement. She is survived by her children, Mario Cavazos of Portland, TX, Ruben Cavazos (+)  Lubbock, TX, Gilberto Cavazos of Lubbock, TX, Idalia Leal of Bruni, TX, Beatriz Gloria of San Antonio, TX, Rene Cavazos of Houston, TX, Eduardo Cavazos and Leticia Lozano of San Antonio, TX and Melissa Bernal of Laredo. She also survived by her grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 7:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
