Hortencia Tijerina

Hortencia Tijerina, 93, beloved mother, and grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on August 25, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Tijerina is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe Obregon Garza and Genaro Garza; husband, Raul Tijerina Sr.; sisters, Celia Ramirez, and Angela Garza. She is survived by her sons, Raul (Veronica) Tijerina, Roberto (Elizabeth) Tijerina, and Ricardo (Maria) Tijerina; grandchildren, Lauren Yvette Tijerina, Christopher Tijerina, Joel Tijerina, Maria Christina Tijerina, Claudia Tijerina, and Ricardo Rafael Tijerina; great-grandchildren, Mason Enzo Tijerina, and Donovan Aston Tijerina; brothers, Tomas Garza, and Benito Garza. Mrs. Tijerina is also survived by other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the City of Laredo Cemetery.
