Mrs. Idalia Judith Perez left this earth to join her parents, Major Antonio and Alica C. Gomez, and her twin sisters: Carlota A. and Rosa Maria G. Gomez. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws: Dr. Jose Raul Mena, Reynaldo Garza, Segundo and Maria Perez, Olga Perez and Juan Guerra, Edna Perez and Rodolfo Oliveria, Rosa Elena Perez and Octavio Guajardo, Fidel Perez Jr., Juan Perez and Angelina Benavides, Roque Perez and Sara Hernandez, and her nephews Dr. Jose Raul Mena Jr. and Pedro Vasquez Jr.

Left to cherish her memory and the beautiful, good life she lives is her loving family, husband Humberto, daughter Carmen A. (Marco) Garcia and their four daughters: Alicia Marie, Andrea Sophia, Ashley Nicole, and Amy Victoria. She is also survived by her son Dr. Armando I. and Melissa Bustamante and their three children: Karina Denise, Cristian Isaac, and Magaly Anahi Perez. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Maria Antonieta Gomez and Graciela G. Mena, her in laws Dr. Alejandro and Alma Perez, Catalina Perez Garza and Alicia G. Perez, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Idalia was blessed in life by the many friends she made during her lifetime. She was always there to help anyone in need and looked forward to her breakfast meals on Tuesdays with her lady friends. 

A "Simple thank you" note is like an ocean filled with gratitude thanking everyone for their kind words, prayers, support and blessings, and above all having everyone of you as friends. May God bless you all.

Idalia, as long as we live, you will always be remembered.

Your family

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a prayer service will be held at 7 pm by Father Jose Luis Balderas. A cremation will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make a heartfelt donation in her memory to a church of your choice.
