Irma Valle Ancira

Irma Valle Ancira passed away peacefully on July 11, 2019, surrounded by her family who caredand loved her so very much. Irma was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.The eldest daughter of Enrique Valle and Elisa Gonzalez Valle, she was born in Cerralvo, NuevoLeon, Mexico, and grew up in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She married the love of herlife, Rosendo, on December 15, 1962, and lived in Laredo, Texas for 50 years. In 2013, followingRosendo's death, Irma moved to San Antonio where she spent time with family and friends andbecame an avid Spurs fan. Left to cherish her memory are her children Rosendo Ancira (Laura), Joann Ancira Petersen, andFederico Enrique Ancira; grandchildren David Bautista, Timothy Michael Petersen, and RobertoRosendo Ancira. She is also survived by her sister Elisa (Horacio*) De Leon; her three brothersEnrique Valle, Isauro Valle, Andres Valle (Teresa); her sister-in-law Conchita Ancira Lawson(William); her brother-in-law Raul Ancira as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and lovingfamily members. In addition to her husband and parents, Irma is preceded in death by heryoungest sister, Aurora Enriquez. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the HillsideFuneral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. from Hillside FuneralHome to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. The Ancira children would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Drusilla “Dru” Jones andMaricela “Mari” Luevado, Irma's loving caregivers, who affectionately developed a close bondwith Irma and her family. The family is also grateful to the representatives from Embrace of SanAntonio, whose nurses, social workers, and administrative staff provided invaluable supportand care. Pallbearers will be Rosendo Ancira, Federico E. Ancira, Timothy M. Petersen, Roberto R. Ancira,Enrique Valle, Isauro Valle, and Andres Valle. Honorary Pallbearers will be Onofre Gonzalez, Martin Gonzalez, Dr. William Lawson, DavidBautista, Dr. Carlos Perez, Horacio De Leon, Gerardo Enriquez, and Isauro Valle.
