Jesus R. Caballero III

Our good and gracious Lord called Jesus R. Caballero, III, into his everlasting resting place on November 30, 2023, in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Elida Arrambide Caballero; parents: Jesus R. Caballero Jr. and Josefina de Leon Caballero; daughter: Alma Leticia Caballero; siblings: Carlota Sosa, Raul Caballero, and Humberto (Elizabeth) Caballero.

Left behind to honor and cherish his memory are his children: Maricela (Grabiel) Valdez, Celinda Caballero, Ana Laura Rodriguez, Jesus Erik (San Juanita) Caballero; siblings: Bertha (Alfonso) Tamez, Aurora (Jose) Castañeda; brother-in-law, Eloy Sosa; sister-in-law: Mary Caballero, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered for the repose of his soul at 7 pm.

The funeral procession will depart at 8:45 am on Monday, December 11, 2023, from Hillside Funerals & Cremations to San Agustin Cathedral, for the celebration of the Mass beginning at 9:30 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Honors will be provided by the Laredo Veteran's Honor Guard and Ft. Sam Houston Honors Team.

Pallbearers will be: Luis A. "Papos" Rodriguez, Alejandro J. "Alex" Rodriguez, David J. "DJ" Robles, Dominik Caballero, Dimitri Caballero, Jose E. Diaz, Jessica Salazar, and Grabiel Valdez Jr.
