Jose Antonio Campos, III

On December 30, 2024, God called one of his angels back home. Jose Antonio Campos III, 10, entered into heaven's gates in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by his loving family at his side. He was born on March 25, 2014, in Laredo, Texas, the son of Jose Antonio Campos Jr. and Georgina Campos, who survive him and will forever hold his memory close. He was at 5th grade student at Farias Elementary School. Jose Antonio enjoyed many fun things in life including sports, such as football, basketball. He was also a talented musician. He played the Violin, Trumpet and Gitarron in the school mariachi. Tony was also a great fisherman, always excelling at it.

He also joins his grandfather in heaven: Jose Antonio Campos Sr. and his great-uncle: Alfredo Medina

He is further survived by his sister: Marlene Campos; grandparents: Cecilia Maria Eva Campos, Jorge and Adela Medina; aunts and uncles: Melissa Escobedo (Gerardo), Stephanie Benavides (Santiago), Joanna Medina, Cecilia Campos (Leon Cisneros), Mario Campos (Jessica), Luis Campos (Stephanie), Gerardo Medina, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, January 6, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 6 pm.

Services will continue on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, beginning at 7 am until 8:45 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Neumann Catholic Church at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
