Jose Luis Delapass, 64, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Delapass was born May 2, 1954 in Laredo, Texas to Mr. Theodore Roosevelt Delapass and Adela Garcia. Prior to his retirement he worked for 30 years as a Roadway Maintenance Supervisor for TXDOT. Mr. Delapass loved to go fishing and camping and spending time with his family especially, his grandchildren. He always enjoyed having the family together for weekend carne asadas. It was all about the grandchildren and making them happy. He is preceded in death by his parents Theodore Roosevelt Delapass and Adela Garcia; siblings, Rose Rodriguez, Evangelina Sanchez, and Ted Delapass. Mr. Delapass is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Patricia Andrea Capra Delapass; children, Marcos Roberto (Lizzie) Delapass, Ted R. Delapass, Jessica Whitedove (Troy) Duarte; and special nephew, Saul Inclan Jr.; grandchildren, Morgan Elise Delapass, Matthew Delapass, and Faith Leia Duarte; his loving sisters Emma Delapass, and Graciela Delapass Garcia. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Gabe Vargas in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hillside Funeral Home. Interment will follow after chapel service to the City of Laredo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Marcos R. Delapass, Ted R. Delapass, Saul Inclan Jr., Troy Duarte, Anthony Carrillo, and Javier Valentin Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers Juan Villarreal, Jesus Peña, Jesus Montes, and Leopoldo Guerrero. The family would like to thank Altus Hospice for their service and compassionate care that their staff extended to Mr. Delapass and family. We deeply appreciate the wonderful care that was given to our amazing father.
