Jose Samaniego Garcia

Jose Samaniego Garcia, 94, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, in Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sofia Tijerina de Samaniego; daughter, Teresita de Maria Samaniego; parents, Ramon Samaniego, and Maria Eugenia Garcia.Mr. Samaniego is survived by his children, Jose Fabian Samaniego, Abelardo (Diana) Samaniego, Argelio (Mireyda) Samaniego, Norma Alicia (Jaime) Flores, Arnoldo (Martha) Samaniego, Rosaura (Javier) Romo and Teresita de Jesus (Carlos) Mendez. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.  A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow to Candela, Coahuila, Mexico. The family would like to thank Dr. Eduardo Canova, Dr. Carlos G.
