Jose "Pepe" Treviño

Mr. Jose “Pepe” Treviño, 100, took a nap and woke up in Heavenly Glory with his Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, January 16, 2023, in Laredo, Texas. 

He is preceded in death by his spouse: Rosalinda S. Villarreal de Treviño; parents: Baltazar Treviño Medina and Guadalupe Alanís Garza; and seven siblings.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Rosalinda " Rosy" (John Douglas Moore) Treviño Moore, Bertha Lilia (+ Oscar) Cardenas, Jose (Rossy Higuera) Treviño Jr., Niria Treviño, Maricela Treviño, Enrique Treviño; grandchildren: Maricela (George) Knowles, Jessenia (Frank) Sanchez, Gloria Zayde (Emanuel) Sanchez, Julissa (Roman) Vogel, Marissa (Allan) Stithem, Melissa (Justin) Balli, Oscar (Valerie) Cardenas, Cynthia Cardenas; great-grandchildren: Agustin Sanchez, Candelaria Morales, Jazlyn Cardenas, Adam Cardenas, Theodore Vogel, Rosalinda Vogel, Lucas Emanuel Sanchez; siblings: Alicia Tellez, Silvino Treviño Alanís, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funeral Home, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral chapel on Friday, January 20, 2023 at 10 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: John D. Moore, Maricela Treviño, Oscar Cardenas, Emanuel “Meme” Sanchez, Allan Stithem, Alfredo Garcia, Alfonso Portillo, Lizandro Treviño, and Ted Gonzalez.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jose “Pepe” Treviño, Jr. and Enrique Treviño.
