Mr. Jose R. Vielma, 92, entered into God's Heavenly Paradise on March 6, 2023, having been surrounded by his loving family.
We lovingly called him “Tito”, he was an exemplary husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Tito showed his family by example the value of work ethic and responsibility as he was always punctual, dutiful, un gran caballero and a great provider for his tesoros, his wife and eight children. Even after his retirement he often kept busy with new projects at home and in his garden. His pride and joy was to cut fresh roses for his beloved wife and for the Virgin Mary’s altar. He was a devoted dad who mastered the gift of counsel and was often providing advice to his kids and grandkids, telling us about his own experiences and learnings. He instilled in us the love and devotion to God and to the Virgin Mary, as he showed us by example his strong faith and cherished family Masses and Rosaries. We are thankful to God for granting us the blessing of our patriarch, the pillar of our family who was an amazing role model we hope to emulate. You have provided us a roadmap of what it is to be an honorable husband and father and we pray we can follow in your footsteps. You lived a long, purposeful, faithful, family filled rich life and we were about to celebrate your 93rd birthday dad, but God called you into His Kingdom. Tito we will miss you immensely and we will think of you always, but especially when we see the sunshine, when we hear the birds singing, when we see your garden flowering, and with each of your grandkids and great-grandchildren. Until we meet again Tito, we love you. Mi querido Padre, te llevo siempre en mi corazón.
We are very thankful to St. Patrick’s Church and The Brother’s of St. John for providing their prayers and blessings on his last days and to his doctors, Dr. Deliz, Dr. Mahani, and Dr. Diaz-Santana
