Josefina P. Treviño, 79, entered eternal peace surrounded by loved ones on Monday, January 18, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Treviño is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vicente Treviño Jr.; loving parents, Manuel and Carmen Perusquia.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Vicente Treviño III, Sandra (Brad) Thompson, and Sergio (Lahoma) Treviño; grandchildren, Gabriela Treviño, Olivia Treviño, Patrick (Cate) Thompson, Katelin (Justin) Moore, Alessandra (Chris Jolibois) Thompson, Chris (Jessica Burkett) Thompson, Julia Treviño, and Eric Treviño; great-grandchildren, Eli, Ara, Nicholas, Micah, Cora, and Andrew Thompson, and Madison Moore. Mrs. Treviño is also survived by her brother, Manuel (Anna) Perusquia, sister-in-law, Maria Gonzalez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. A mass will be celebrated at 9:30 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to Maricruz Gonzalez Hernandez for the special care provided as a personal caregiver during her extended illness and to Dr. Mohsen Ghadimi-Mahani and staff for his dedication to her medical care and ongoing support.
