Juan Hernandez

Juan Hernandez, 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents, Aviles and Esperanza Hernandez; siblings, Maurilio Hernandez, Antonia Hernandez, Jose Hernandez, Ismael Contreras, Elida Contreras, Carmela Contreras, Florentina Contreras, and Sanjuana Contreras.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Minerva Hernandez; children, Maria Minerva (Jesus) Rodriguez, Juan Carlos (Maria de Rosario) Hernandez, Sandra Rodriguez, Ubaldo (Cynthia) Hernandez, Marco Antonio (Jessica) Hernandez, and Gabriel Angel (Gloria Rios) Hernandez. Mr. Hernandez is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 10:45 A.M. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:15 A.M.

Pallbearers Juan Carlos Hernández, Ubaldo Hernández, Marco Antonio Hernández, Gabriel Ángel Hernández, Jesús Rodríguez, José Paredes, Marco Antonio Hernández Jr., and Eduardo Daniel Gómez.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
