Juan Manuel Vazquez

God has called his beloved servant, Juan Manuel Vazquez, 88, to his eternal glory in the kingdom of Heaven on March 20, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, having been faithfully surrounded by the love, prayers of his beloved family.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Manuel Vazquez and Victorina Serna de Vazquez; siblings: Hermelinda Vasquez, Aurelio Vazquez, Olivia Serna, and Elpidio Vazquez.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 60 years of marriage, Alicia Vazquez; children: Sara Alicia Vazquez Hinojosa, Rosa Lima McClure (Antonio), Sandra Celina Butts (Mark), Vilma Lorena Vacca (Anthony), Zonia Sylvia Vazquez, Juan Adriel Vazquez (Violeta Noemi), Jose Javier Vazquez (Cynthia Melissa), Edica Edith Carrillo (Erasto), Jesus Emmanuel Vazquez, Pablo Aaron Vazquez (Sofia), Marco Elpidio Vazquez, Joel Antonio Vazquez; 37 beloved grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; siblings: Mireyda Vazquez, Apolonia Vazquez, Graciela Vazquez, Alberto Vazquez, Linda Vazquez, and Ercilia Vazquez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends in Christ.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8 am to 12 noon at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where there is a Celebration of Life Service set to commence at 10 am.

The funeral procession will depart the chapel at 1 pm to the Laredo City Cemetery for a Graveside Service at 1:30 pm.

Pallbearers will be: Juan Adriel, Jose Javier, Jesus Emmanuel, Pablo Aaron, Marco Elpidio and Joel Antonio Vazquez.
