Laura Margarita Guerra, 57, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 7, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

Mama, the work was well done now rest in His Glory and await the last day's blast of trumpet. You will resurrect in your new body with all the saints who sleep from their holy labors and await the new heaven and new earth to come after Christ's glory is revealed. Seems more and more everyday it may not be too long of a wait, but for now enjoy being reunited with Christian Michael, your baby boy, Gildardo Rodriguez, your father, Irene and Guadalupe Guerra, your suegros, and of course, Mia, your yorkie in Paradise at your Christ-built Castle. Please remember in Paradise all has been paid for through God's Passion, and you don't have to labor too strenuously to help others get the castles of their dreams, but I know you'd be number one in production if you wanted to continue your labor of love. Please put in good words to the Big Guy up there for all those you left behind. Especially for George Luis Guerra, your loving spouse for over 40 years, Crystal Marie Guerra, your first born, Georgie Gabriel Guerra, your first born son, and Christian Andres Guerra, your baby boy. Of course, I know you won't forget to mention your loving grandchildren Andrew "Dacky" Martinez and Ava Villarreal, your loving mother Margarita D Rodriguez, and your loving sisters, Linda Lanford, Margaret Hogan, Kathy Reidenbach, and Helen Rodriguez. If you're not too busy dancing for God and in awe of His Glory and the majesty you are encountering standing in the Son, come by to visit us while we celebrate your wonderful life and happy death. We will be at Hillside Funeral Home for visitations from 6PM to 9PM praying a rosary for you from 7-7:30 PM on Thursday 1/13/22. Your Mass and Funeral will be on
Friday 1/14/22 at San Martin de Porres at 9 AM with your burial at Calvary Catholic Cemetery at 10AM. We will hold a Reception in your honor at Dunamis Ministries Youth Center at 12PM after we lay you down to rest. While you dream God's dream we will be reminiscing about all the good times on our family road trips and vacations that brought you so much joy, and how you loved to read for leisure and try new cuisines, and then when holidays were over how dedicated you were to your work helping many Laredoans and fellow Texans purchase the home of their dreams. You are forever in our hearts, Mama.
