Leopoldo F. Rodriguez Sr.

Leopoldo F. Rodriguez Sr., passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021.

Mr. Rodriguez lived a full and beautiful life. He worked for Richters for many years and was known to all as “Polo”.

He enjoyed ballroom dancing to the orchestra sounds with the love of his life “Nina”. Both enjoyed traveling after their retirement.

Polo is preceded in death by his parents, Teodoro and Maria Rodriguez, and his wife of 57 years Armandina “Nina” Rodriguez.

He is survived by his children, Juanita (Dave) Humphrey, Leopoldo F. Rodriguez Jr., Sandra Wilcox, Thelma (Jose Roberto) Maldonado, Raquel Rodriguez, and Gerardo Luis Rodriguez; grandchildren, Trevor (Lacey) Chapman, Gabriela Maldonado, Jose Roberto Maldonado III, Gerardo Luis Rodriguez Jr., Noah Rodriguez, and Bianca Rodriguez; and great-grandchildren, Kaylie Rodriguez and Jackson Roy Chapman.

A rosary will be recited Monday, February 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
