Manuel "El Gallo" Arzamendi

Manuel “El Gallo” Arzamendi, 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, in Laredo, Texas surrounded by his family and friends. Mr. Arzamendi worked at Webb County as an expediting purchasing clerk for 22 years. He was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Society of San Luis Rey Catholic Church and of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Arzamendi is preceded in death by his parents, Anibal and Maria Del Jesus Loya Arzamendi. He is survived by his wife of 57 years of marriage.Rosario F. Arzamendi; children, Elsa (Jesse†) Coe, Manuel (Tracy) Arzamendi Jr., Ricardo (Chellie) Arzamendi, Gerardo (Griselda) Arzamendi, Javier (Elizabeth) Arzamendi; grandchildren, Jesse D. (Ramona) Coe III, Anthony (Priscilla) Coe, Ricardo Rene Arzamendi Jr., Roberto M. Arzamendi, Gerardo Arzamendi Jr., Joseph A. Arzamendi, Samantha N. Arzamendi, Javier Arzamendi Jr., Manuel “Tres” Arzamendi III.; great –granddaughter, Sydney R. Coe; sisters, Elvira (Enrique†) Lozano and  Carmen (Cesar) Salazar. Mr. Arzamendi is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. A rosary will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Luis Rey Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank his caregiver Francisca “Pancha” Hernandez.
