Manuel de Jesus Salinas, 58, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas,

Mr. Salinas is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Salinas and Modesta Chapa-Salinas.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Celeste (Patrick) Lara, Cesar (Christina Treviño) Salinas, and Erica Contreras; brother, Abundio Salinas; and former spouse and mother of Celeste and Cesar, Hilda Moncivais. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Angelina Lara, Anthony Lara, and Dorian Salinas; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
