Maria Elena Cavazos

Mrs. Maria Elena Cavazos, 78, entered into her final journey on August 30, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving and caring family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Apolinar Leopoldo and Dolores Uresti Garcia; siblings: Juan Leopoldo Garcia., Maria Luisa Gonzalez Mata, and Antonio Garcia.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years of marriage: Mr. Ricardo Cavazos; daughters: Cynthia Elena Cavazos Ramos (Reynaldo) and Veronica Michelle Tran (Felipe); grandchildren: Joshua Ramos and Abigail Ramos; siblings: Jesus Garcia and Maria del Rosario Garcia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered for the repose of her soul at 7 pm.

Funeral procession will depart the chapel at 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
