Maggie Garza

Our beloved Maggie Garza, 55, entered into God's glorious kingdom on January 23, 2025, in Laredo, Texas. She now rests from all worry and is in the comfort of the most high, where she will watch over us and keep us safe.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, her beloved and cherished: Francisca "Panchita" Martinez; brother: Juan Mojica.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Jesus A. Johnson; son: Jesus A. Johnson Jr.; mother: Maria Magdalena Cantu; siblings: Roberto (Sandra) Garza, Ana Cantu, Claudia (Sergio) Monreal, Jose (Betty) Mojica; grandchildren: Clementine Johnson; her beloved nieces and nephews: Jennifer Garza, Roberto Garza Jr., Elina Garza, Alyin Rios, Markie Rios, Leo Cantu, Julio Monreal, Pamela Monreal, Diego Monreal, Danny Monreal, Juan Mojica Jr., as well as numerous other relatives and many friends she made along the way.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 5 to 10 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

A Funeral Mass is pending at Christi the King Catholic Church on Friday, January 31, 2025, department from the funeral home at a pending time.

A cremation will be performed at a later date.

Pallbearers will be: Jesus A. Johnson Sr., Roberto Gaza, Jesse Johnson Jr., Roberto Garza Jr., Roger Cantu, Markie Rios, Julio Monreal, Juan Mojica Jr.
