Maria Guadalupe Nava

Maria Guadalupe Nava, 68, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 21, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

"Mom, I still see your face before me, your voice I long to hear... I miss and love you dearly. God knows I wish, you were here. Tears fall freely from my eyes like a river, filled with grief... My only comfort now is that from pain, you've found relief. Missing you always." 

Mrs. Nava is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto Velasquez and Antonia Santillan.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tania (Andres Jr.) Sillas and Ivan Nava; grandchildren, Selma Sillas, Mercedes Nava, Flavio Nava, and siblings, Angelica (Jaime) Garcia, Gabriela (Hugo) Sanchez, Maria del Roble (Marin) Rangel, Roberto (Socorro) Velasquez, Alejandro (Rocio) Velasquez, Leticia (Mario) Flores, Luis Antonio (Sonia) Velasquez, Juan Manuel (Juanita) Velasquez, Patricia (Juan) Luna, and Fernando Velasquez Santillan. Mrs. Nava is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
