Maria Angelita Valverde

Maria Angelita Valverde, 55, entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 24, 2020, in Laredo, Texas. Maria Angelita had a passion for teaching and loved all of her students. Many of whom are excellent members of society. Teachers like her are always remembered and hold a special place in their student’s heart. Ms. Valverde was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jose and Margarita Valverde and brother Jose Martin Perez Left to cherish her memory are her beloved mother, Guadalupe Valverde; brother, Ricardo Perez; first cousin, Juanita Cardenas, that was more like a sister; niece, Janette Perez and nephew, Joseph Michael Vasquez. Ms. Valverde is also survived by many close friends, fellow teachers, current and former students. A rosary will be recited on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel.
