Miguel Rodriguez

Miguel Rodriguez, 96, died Sunday, December 1, 2019 surrounded by family members. Mr. Rodriguez worked for the Texas Mexican Railway for over 50 years, and was a WWII veteran, having served in the United States Army Air Force for 4 years.Mr. Rodriguez was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jose H. Rodriguez (Alice, TX), one brother and two sisters.He is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Eloisa Rodriguez; sister, Oralia Thomas; children, Jose (Oneida), Orlando (Marisela), Michael (Stephen), John (Guadalupe), Joanna Villarreal (Jose); 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. A rosary will be recited on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.A chapel service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held at a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
