Minerva Martinez

Minerva Martinez, 92, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, June 5, 2022, surrounded by loved ones at home.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Martinez; mother, Sanjuana Martinez; and her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Elsa Guadalupe Prado (Raymundo Prado), Sandra Martinez (Helio Perez), Ana Laura Osio (David Osio), Jorge Martinez, Jr. (Maricela Martinez), Jose Alberto Martinez (Lea Verdida Mendoza), Luis Jaime Martinez (Dora Martinez), and Eduardo Martinez (Adriana Martinez). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 7:00 P.M. at Hillside Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 9:30 A.M. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M.

Pallbearers will be Jorge Martinez Jr., Jose Alberto Martinez, Luis Jaime Martinez Jr., David Martinez, Jorge Prado, Ricardo Medrano Jr., Jose Alfredo Jaime Jr., and Eduardo Martinez Jr.

Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
