Minerva Rodriguez Payle

Our Heavenly Father called upon Minerva Rodriguez Payle to join his eternal glory at age 90, on Sunday, August 11, 2019. She died peacefully at home surrounded by her family.Minerva was born in San Antonio, Texas, and lived most of her life in Laredo, Texas. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her heart was full of kindness and love for those around her. Minerva loved to cook, bake, and enjoyed playing loteria with her friends. She will be greatly missed.She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Payle; parents, Jose A. Rodriguez and Guadalupe Campos; brother, Jose A. Rodriguez.Left to cherish her memory are her children, John (Mariangelita) Payle, Ida (Hector) Rocha, Fred J. (Veronica) Payle, Lillian Salinas (Ramiro Montoya), George A. Payle, Katherine (Vladimir) Garza, and Juanita Linares; grandchildren, John Greg Payle, Krystal (C.J.) Miller, Melinda Rocha, Michael H. (Dalia) Rocha, Joseph Payle, Charles (Lizeth) Payle, Demi R. Payle, George A. Payle, Nancy Torres Payle, George Torres Payle, Victoria Dominguez, Katherine Dominguez, Lily Dominguez, and Nelly Garcia; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Trevino, Alexis Trevino, Alyza Trevino, Jeffrey Miller, Andrew Jay Garza, Kaycee M. Rocha, Michael H. Rocha, Alan Blanco, Luis Andres Blanco, and Charlotte Payle; sister-in-law, Gladys Orozco. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow to the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Milton Haber for his care and support.
