Miss Norma M. Jimenez, 92, entered into the arms of the Heavenly Father on February 25, 2023, surrounded by her family. She was born in Laredo, Texas on May 11, 1930, to Manuel and Petrita Jimenez. Ms. Jimenez was a cherished and loyal employee of Zales Jewelry for 36 years and enjoyed 10 years working for the Laredo Independent School District.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Petrita Jimenez; siblings: Leonelo (Beatrice) Jimenez, Rosa (Tony) Canada, Zulema (Dolores) Ramirez; brother-in-law: Eduardo Hinojosa.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sister: Cidelia Hinojosa, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 5 until 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, 310 W. Hillside Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at 7 am with a formal procession departing the funeral home at 10:30 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 11 am.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
