Raul Solis, Jr.

Our good and loving God has called our beloved Raul Solis Jr. at the age of 73 years to his presence on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born in Laredo, Texas, on May 26, 1951, the son of the late Raul and Enedina Solis. He was welcomed at Heaven's gate: Rolando "Roli" Solis; sister: Patricia Beddo.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 50 years of marriage, love, and compassion: Mrs. Maria Martinez Solis; children: Raul Solis III, Rogelio (Cristy) Solis, Cordelia Solis; grandchildren: Raul Solis IV, Samantha (Javier Sandi) Solis, Isaiah Solis, Isla Solis; and his first great-granddaughter, who is due to be welcomed unto this world in October, Lyla Blu Sandi; siblings: Maria Norma (Amador) Marcha, Alicia (Luvin) Chapa, Olga Fritter, Pedro (Leticia) Solis, Sergio (Sandra) Solis; brother in law: Michael (Marilyn) Beddo, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7:30 pm.

The funeral home will open at 7 am on Saturday, July 6, 2024, where the procession will form and will depart at 8:30 am to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the San Agustin Garden Section of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest in the family plot beside his beloved son, Rolando "Roli" Solis.
