Mrs. Rebeca Garza Medellin, 72, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2023, having been surrounded by her loving family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Ramiro Carlos Medellin; parents: Leopoldo Garza and Rebeca I. Garza; siblings: Leopoldo (Irma) Garza, Armandina Garza, Juanita Garza.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her son: Jose (Dina Mae) Medellin; grandchildren: David (Maritza Lozano) Castañeda, April Leann (Luis Peter) Decker; siblings: Pedro Garza, Reginaldo (Lilia) Garza, Maria Luisa (Nicolas) Medina, Ricardo (Esther Flores) Garza, Marcelino (Gloria) Rangel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be offered at 7 pm.

All services will conclude in the chapel and a cremation will follow at a later date.
