Our Heavenly Father has called his beloved disciple, Rodolfo Moreno Sr., age 73 to his heavenly reward, on May 24, 2024, in Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Rosendo and Amelia Martinez; son: Rodolfo Moreno Jr.; siblings: Rosendo Moreno Jr., Rogelio Moreno, Raul Moreno, Yolanda Huckaby, and Maria Sanchez.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years of marriage, Mrs. Amelia Esquivel Moreno; children: Erika Marie Moreno; grandchildren: Roshell Marie Garza, Brittaney Aleksa Zapata, Tessie Vianey Moreno, Kailah Renee Moreno, Roldolfo Moreno III; great-grandchildren: Delilah Vianey Garza, Gustavo Garza Jr., Larrissa Garza, Lorraine Garza, Kailene Moreno, Samuel Moreno Jr., Carmina Lopez, Amerie Moreno; siblings: Antonio Moreno, Juan R. Moreno, Reynaldo Moreno, Thelma Zuniga, Elia Brooks, Dolores Tamez, Rebecca Villarreal, Norma Guerrero, and Elda Satterwhite, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many beloved friends.
The family will gather on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 pm, led by Pastor Julio Patiño.
A Funeral Service will take place at 9 am on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Casa de Oracion, 5119 Fairfield Dr., departing the funeral home at 8:30 am.
Procession will form and depart following the service to the Laredo City Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest.
Pallbearers will be: Rodolfo Moreno III, Jordan Quintanilla, Juan Iruegas, Juan R. Moreno, Antonio Moreno, and Reynaldo Moreno.
