Rosa T. Hernandez

Rosa T. Hernandez, 85, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 3, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Hernandez is preceded in death by her parents, Homero Cabriales and Francisca Ortiz; and daughter Rosa Isela Hernandez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eduardo (Marlene) Hernandez and Gustavo (Windy) Hernandez; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Rosalva (Homero+) Cabriales Ortiz. Mrs. Hernandez is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Pallbearers will be Eduardo Hernandez Sr., Gustavo A. Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez Jr., Luis A. Hernandez, Gustavo Hernandez II, Luis Hernandez Jr., David Claudio, and Gerardo Calderon.

Interment will follow to the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the family kindly asks all those wishing to express their condolences in person to maintain social distancing orders, all necessary restrictions will be observed in order to protect the health and safety of those in attendance. In accordance with the city ordinance, the number of visitors will be limited. All visitors must wear face coverings while inside the building. Hand sanitizer is provided upon entry.
