Simon Lara Sr.

Simon Lara Sr., 58, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Lara Sr., is preceded in death by his father, Sotero Lara; and brother, Roberto Lara.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving mother, Maria del Roble Ramos; son, Simon Lara Jr.; grandchildren, Simon Lara III, Andrea Saleen Lara, and Aydan Alexander Lara; siblings, Bertha Alicia (Jose Maria) Sanchez, Antonio Lara, Juan Lara, Eleazar Lara, Alma Delia (Javier) Zamora, and Laura Lara; sister-in-law, Gabriela Lara. Mr. Lara is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, in the Hillside Funeral Home Chapel from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. from Hillside Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Cremation will be held at a later date.
