Tomas Segura

Tomas Segura, 71, was called home to be with the Lord on January 5, 2025, in Laredo, Texas, surrounded by his loving family at his side. He was born on November 16, 1953, in Laredo, Texas, the son of the late Santos Segura Sr. and Margarita Segura. He is further predeceased by his siblings: Antonio Segura, Gloria Castillo, Santos Segura Jr., Jaime Pedro Segura, and Graciela Segura.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 15 years of marriage: Diana Segura; daughters: Valerie Michelle Segura (Maria I. Perez), Elizabeth Marie (Michael Lopez) Segura, his grand-nephew that he raised Anthony Ray Segura; siblings: Maria Cristina Segura, Gerardo Segura, Javier Segura (Sandra), Margarita Hernandez (Silvestre), Jose Segura (Belia), Jesus Segura (Betsaida), Edna McMurtry (Mark), Connie Garcia (Carlos), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 5 to 9 pm at Hillside Funerals and Cremations, where a Rosary will be recited at 7 pm.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 7 am until 8:30 am, where the funeral procession will depart the chapel at 8:30 am to San Luis Rey Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 am.

Rite of Committal and Interment with Military Honors will follow the Mass at the Laredo City Cemetery-Veteran's Section.

Pallbearers will be: Carlos Garcia, Jesus Segura, Omar Alvarez, Jose Chavez, Michael Lopez, and Hector Castillo Jr.
