Victoria Ann Rodriguez

October 16, 1957 — March 27, 2018

Victoria Ann Rodriguez has gone home to her heavenly father after multiple courageous battles in this world. Through her zeal for life she loved unconditionally every person she crossed paths with. Her eternal optimism was an exemplary model for all who knew and loved her. She was a proud Nixon Mustang, Class of 1977, who shared joy with her classmates every opportunity possible. She loved and served children loyally for 38 years at both LISD and UISD where she was a certified teacher assistant. After her 2016 retirement she decided to dedicate herself to serve the Lord as a CCD teacher assistant at Blessed Sacrament Parish and volunteered her love and assistance at Los Pepitos Schoolhouse. Ms. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her devoted and loving parents, Victor and Doris Rodriguez; brother, Victor Rodriguez Jr. She is survived by her loving sisters, Cynthia B. Rodriguez, Doris (James) Gallagher, and Pamela (Benito) Juarez; her adoring niece and nephews, Anissa (Chris) Ramirez, James Gallagher III, Michael (Monica) Gallagher, Conrad (Hilda) Villarreal, and Benito Jared (Mayra) Juarez. She also leaves behind the sunshines of her life JR and Victor Ramirez, her great- grand nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church; 2219 Galveston St. Laredo, Texas 78043. A rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m.  Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the family plot of the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Benito D. Juarez, James “Trey” Gallagher III, Michael Gallagher, Conrad Villarreal Benito J. Juarez, , and Chris Ramirez. Honorary Pallbearer will be, James Gallagher Jr. A special thanks to her devoted aunts, uncle and cousins as well as her compassionate and loving doctors, Dr. Selena Juarez Stewart, Dr. Carlos Orces, and Dr. Idelfonso Flores; all blessings to Mercedes and Hilda for their loving care.
