Zulema Gallegos Rundell was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifetime resident. She was a member of First Assembly of God church, had a lifelong real estate career, and loved to travel to San Antonio to spend time with family.
Mrs. Rundell is preceded in death by her parents, son Santos Gallegos Jr., siblings, and other relatives.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Harold Rundell, children Eduardo (Jamie) Gallegos, Adriana (Marcos) Alvear, and Joel (Jeanie Schieber) Gallegos, daughter-in-law Esther Gallegos, grandchildren Santos (Melissa) Gallegos III, Adrienne Ashley Alvear, and Aiden Joshua Alvear, great grandchildren Santos Xavier Gallegos and Carlos Daniel Gallegos. Mrs. Rundell is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives, and beloved friends.
A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 7:00pm in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel. A visitation will take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:00am in the Hillside Funeral Home chapel.
Interment will follow to the City of Laredo Cemetery.
Due to ongoing COVID-19, the family kindly asks all those wishing to express condolences in person to wear face masks and maintain social distancing orders.
